An Indian writer, director, and actor, who is known for his work in Malayalam literature and Malayalam cinema. He was born in Kollam, India. He is best known for his play Paavam Usman, for which he won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and the Kerala Professional Nataka Award in 1989. He has written several films including Agnidevan (1995), Punaradhivasam (2000), and Police (2005), and has acted in films such as Vimaanam (2017), Anukoni Athidhi (2019), and Operation Java (2021).
