An American screenwriter and director, born in Charlottesville, Virginia. His father was the psychologist Wayne Dennis. He studied at the AFI Conservatory and participated in a number of works, such as Walk the Line (2005) and Return to Oz (1985). He died in Portland, Oregon, United States.
