A German-American actor, born in Greifswald, Germany and raised in North Carolina, United States. He studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology. He began his career in the early 1970s, in films such as Dirty Harry (1971) and The Front (1976). His other credits include Strange Days (1995) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006).
