An American actress, born in Washington, D.C. She married actor Brian Hemmingsen. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology, studied theatrical arts, and began her artistic career in theater. In 1992, she won the Helen Hayes Award for her performance of the role in the play The Rocky Horror Show at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company. She is known for The Invasion (2007), Homicide: Life on the Street (1993), and The House on Sorority Row (1982).
