An American screenwriter, director, and actor, born in New York, the United States. He is the son of comedian Herb Shriner, and the twin brother of actor Kin Shriner. He studied at J. J. Pearce High School, Texas. Some of his credits include Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), Frasier (2000-2003) and Gilmore Girls (2006).
