An American director and cinematographer, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He studied fine arts at Carnegie Mellon University and studied chemical engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He started his film career at WRS Motion Pictures while still in college. He then moved to New York to work as a post-production supervisor at MGM Studios, but he returned to Pittsburgh to make documentaries. He established his own production company with writer Rift Fournier, producing and directing many short films, documentaries and commercials. Some of his credits include Space Jam (1996) and Let It Ride (1989).
