An American actress, born in Memphis, Tennessee. She studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, then moved with their daughter to Southern California. She launched her acting career through the film Summer of My German Soldier (1978) and her first cinematic appearance was in Hopscotch (1980).
