Ahmed Nader was born in Alexandria in 1986 and graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University in 2009. He directed a number of documentaries, including Searching For Rushdi (2015), and Autumn's Hunting in Fayoum Oasis (2016). His first short feature film was Affability (2017), which won the Bronze Tanit at the Carthage Film Festival and the Arab World Institute Award at the Arab Film Festival in Paris.
