An Indian actress, who studied economics and mathematics before moving to London to study contemporary dance. She began acting in a theatre group and starred in several plays. Her first film breakthrough came when she landed a small role in the Indian film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! (2005). Four years later, she began starring in films, most notably All in All Azhagu Raja (2013), Postcard (2014), and Parched (2015).
