Mohamed El Tabei Mohamed Wahba was an Egyptian writer and journalist born on 18 May 1896 in Port Said. He graduated with a Law degree in 1923. He started his career as a journalist in Al Ahram and Rose Al Youssef under a pseudonym since he was an employee in the parliament. He founded Akher Saa Magazine in 1934 in addition to co-founding El Masri Newspaper. He wrote many novels that have been adapted into plays, series and films such as Nora (1967), When We Love (1967), and the play A Village's Revolution.
