An Iraqi actress, she studied music at the Institute of Fine Arts. She started as a pianist and participated in several concerts that were held at the institute annually, but she was more focused on acting and drama. She made her professional debut in the movie Under the Same Sky (1978). She has over than 50 credits between cinema, television and radio. Her works include: Rain of Fire (2007), Time and Dust (2000), and Echo of the Past (2010).
