New Zealand actor and musician, born on June 29, 1977 in New Zealand. He attended Clifton Terrace Model School, Wellington College, and Victoria University, where he met Jemaine Clement and they studied film and theater together. Later, McKenzie and Clement founded The Conchords, and they toured internationally and released several albums. He got married to Hannah Clarke in 2009, and they have three children. He's known for Flight of the Conchords (2007-2009), The Muppets (2011) and Muppets Most Wanted (2014).
