An English author, born in London, United Kingdom. She is known for creating the character of Frankenstein and was the wife of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. Her novel "Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus" was adapted into many movies, including Young Frankenstein (1974), Bride of Frankenstein (1935), Frankenstein (1931), and I, Frankenstein (2014). She died on February 1, 1851 in London, England, United Kingdom.
