She was born on the 28th of August 1975 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She obtained a master's degree in creative writing and screenwriting from the University of Texas at Austin, then studied production at the American Film Institute, from which she graduated in 2003. Among her work are the movies The Greatest, Endless Love, and Boundaries, and the series Dirty Diana.
