Nigel Stock was a British actor, born on September 21, 1919 in Malta as Nigel Hector Munro Stock. He grew up in British India, and returned to the United Kingdom as a teenager to complete his education, where he joined St Paul's School, then studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and worked in theater. After war, he traveled to New York to work in its theaters, including cinema and television. Among his works: The Great Escape (1963), The Lion in Winter (1968), The Doctors (1969), and Owen, M.D.(1971). Nigel Stock married three times and died on June 22, 1986 in London, England, United Kingdom of a heart attack.
