An Indian director, born in Mumbai, India. He worked in Khar, a Mumbai suburb, at a video cassette library. As a result, he had access to a vast collection of films, which he used to study filmmaking. He appeared as an actor in Rangeela (1995), then turned to directing. His most important works include Chandni Bar (2001), Satta (2003), Traffic Signal (2007), and India Lockdown (2022).
