An American novelist and screenwriter, born in Washington Heights, New York, USA, to novelists Jose Yglesias and Helen Yglesias. He attended Horace Mann School and then George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, Maine, USA. Among his novels are "Hide Fox, and All After" and "Fearless". His film credits include Death and the Maiden (1994), Les Misérables (1998), and From Hell (2001).
