An American writer and producer, born on September 14, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York. He studied screenwriting at Princeton University, Columbia University, and Vassar College. His work include Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Planet of the Apes, and Boardwalk Empire.
