A Scottish actress, born in Perth, United Kingdom, to a mother who worked as a professor of cardiovascular research at Ninewells Hospital,and a businessman father. After completing her education at the High School of Dundee, she proceeded to study in Cardiff, Wales, at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She is known for What Maisie Knew (2012) and Crime (2021-2022).
