Egyptian writer, born in 1941 in Shershaba village, Zefta, Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. Her father is Sheikh Mahmoud Shahin, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar. She obtained a Social Work Diploma and worked as a social worker in the UAE. She writes poetry, novels, and short stories. She is known for Open Sesame S1 (1979). She married Naguib Al Kilani in 1960.
