A famous Bollywood actress and Indian politician, born on April 9, 1948 in Jabalpur. A graduate of the Institute of Indian Film and Television in Bonn, and the wife of Indian and international actor Amitabh Bachchan. She began her cinematic career as a teenager with the 1963 film Mahanagar Mahanagar. She received a huge number of awards. Among her works are Emperor (1988), The Flame (1975), and Another Kind of Marriage (2008).
