An American actor, born on February 6, 1931, in Temple, Texas. He studied theater arts at Texas A&M University. He won an Emmy Award for The Larry Sanders Show (1992). He appeared in several episodes of the series Thirty Rock, and also played a role in the movie Men in Black, in its parts along with many other films and television series over sixty years. He is also famous for his roles in Dodgeball: A True Loser Story (2004) and Marie Antoinette (2006). He was nominated for an Oscar in 1983 for Cross Creek two years before his wife Geraldine Page won the Oscar for Best Actress. He passed away on July 10, 2019, at his home.
