A British actor, born in London, UK to actors Cedric Hardwicke and Helena Pickard. He began his film career in Hollywood at the age of ten when he appeared in the film A Guy Named Joe before returning to England to complete his national service in the British Royal Air Force. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Some of his credits include Elizabeth (1998) and Oliver Twist (2005).
