An American actress, who studied performance art and contemporary ballet at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland. She moved to New York City in 1973 at the age of 16 and continued to study modern dance and ballet at Alvin Ailey Dance School. She later studied jazz dance with Phil Black and also attended the Joffrey Ballet School at the same time she took acting classes at HB Studios. She had a cinematic experience in the 1979 movie The Driller Killer.
