An American actress, born on September 20, 1970, in New York City, New York, USA. Her mother worked as a psychiatrist with the New York City Board of Education, and her father Stanley Wright was a jazz musician. She studied at Manhattan High School for the Performing Arts and Stella Adler's Studio. She debuted in 1992 and participated in many works, including Dead Presidents (1995), Fresh (1994), A Talent for Trouble (2018), and His and Hers (1997). She was nominated for the NAACP Award for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special.
