An Italian actor, born in Grosseto, Italy. He studied acting at the Little Theatre of the City of Milan, then began appearing in films. He also appeared in a number of plays by director Giorgio Strehler. He is known for The Great Silence (1968) and For a Few Dollars More (1965).
