An American filmmaker and actor, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He moved with his family to Chicago, Illinois. He obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from the University of Northwestern, and after a few years, he briefly taught media at Mississippi State University, then moved away from his academic career and became the manager of WRAC Radio in Wisconsin, and after that, he became the studio director at the studio WKY-TV. In 1953, he began working for an advertising agency while teaching at Roosevelt University. Meanwhile, he began directing TV commercials for a small production company called Alexander and Associates. Some of his credits include How to Make a Doll (1968) and Blast-Off Girls (1967).
