A British actress of Italian-Jewish, Turkish-Cypriot and Scottish descent, born in Colliers Wood, London. She attended Glenthorne High School in Sutton. She was rejected from London drama schools. She began her career in the play That Face, but became known after appearing in the series Doctors in 2009. Among her notable works are How I Live Now (2013), Mr. Turner (2014) and Game of Thrones (2012).
