He is an Egyptian singer and actor who was born in Cairo in 1961. He graduated from the Institute of Arab Music from the Oud Department, and he received a master's degree from the Academy of Arts in Arab Music Arts. Sawt El Fan Company produced many songs and albums for him and he sang for great poets and composers. He also acted, composed music, and sang in many TV series and films, including Places in the Heart (2005), World Plowing (1999), and The Black Tiger (1984). He also sang many religious songs. He starred in more than twenty musical plays, including: "Isis", and "Lady Huda". He played a major role in reviving the Arab music heritage by preserving the heritage of the 19th and 20th centuries and presenting it in a new form in the third millennium. He participated in most of the sessions of the Arab Music Festival at the Egyptian Opera House and was honored in the nineteenth festival.
