She is a Dominican actress and model, born on November 30, 1984, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, as Omahyra Mota Garcia. She moved to the United States when she was 10, and her mother encouraged her to pursue a career in modeling. She is known for her roles in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), After the Sunset (2004), and State Property: Blood on the Streets (2005).
