He is a Canadian actor, born on June 19, 1967, in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada, as Ray Dean Thrasher. He is of German and Inuit descent. He is a well-known master carver of Inuit carvings and masks. He is known for The Last of the Mohicans (1992), Big Eden (2000), and Tom and Huck (1995).
