A British actress, born in 1960 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. When she was 23, she co-founded with three actresses the Charabanc Theatre Company, which lasted until the early 1990s. She began her career in the movie The End of the World Man in 1986. Among her notable works are Becoming Jane (2007), Disco Pigs (2001) and The Boxer (1997).
