A British actress, director, and model. She was born in London, United Kingdom, to a father of Arab origins and a German mother. She lived during her youth in Toronto, Canada, after working as a teenager as a fashion model in Canada and Britain before she pursued a career in acting. She also studied at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is known for Drop Zone (1994) and The Doors (1991).
