An American actor, born on February 7, 1947, and died on May 18, 2009. He is best known for voice acting the beloved Disney character Mickey Mouse for 32 consecutive years. He started working for The Walt Disney Company in 1966. Prior to that, he worked in the postal department of the same company and then in the sound effects department, where he developed his vocal skills. He won an Emmy in 1986 for his voiceovers on the NBC series Amazing Stories. He died in 2009 of complications from diabetes at the age of 62.
