American actor, born October 1, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the US Navy during World War II, after which he began working as a theater actor for more than ten years before moving to television. His works include: Happy Days (1974-1984), The Back-up Plan (2010), and Yours, Mine and Ours (1968). He died on October 19, 2010 in California, after suffering from lung cancer.
