A British actor, born on May 26, 1913 in Kenley, Surrey, England. He studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He worked on the movies Hamlet (1948), Horror of Dracula (1958), Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), and Top Secret! (1984). He died at the age of 81 of prostate cancer on August 11, 1994.
