British actor, screenwriter, and director, born in Perthshire, Scotland. He studied at Crieff Primary School and at Morrison's Academy. Later, he joined the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and then began his acting career. He is known for The Machine (2013) and Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
