An American actor, born in New Jersey, Illinois, USA, to his father, the musician Donald Gammon. He moved to Orlando, Florida, where he worked as a television cameraman, following the divorce of his parents. In 1966, he relocated to Hollywood to start his acting career, which spanned over forty years. He is known for Major League (1989) and Cold Mountain (2003).
