He is an American writer, born on January 20, 1965, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He worked as a lawyer before dropping it to concentrate on screenwriting. He starred in an election-related TV ad when he was six years old. He is known for Marriage of Lies (2016), Patient Killer (2014), and Sole Custody (2014). At the Fort Lauderdale Picture Festival, his film Patient Killer (2014) earned the Spirit of Independent Film Award.
