She is an American actress born in New York in 1949. She began her artistic career in advertisements and acted on television and theatre. She won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the 1962 movie, The Miracle Maker when she was 16. She succeeded as a singer as well and was known for her songs, Don't Just Stand There and Say Something Funny.
