Egyptian writer born in Alexandria in 1981. She organized and took part in several writing workshops in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon. She published her first short story collection titled "With My Morning Coffee" in 2008 and she followed it with several others. She also founded the publication house "Fabrica Art" in Alexandria. Aside from writing, she appeared in the short film "That Was Loneliness" by director Marianne Abdel Malek which was adapted from a novel by the same name by Juan José Millás. The short film Pale Red (2009) was also adapted from one of her short stories.
