American director and actor, born on November 7, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He won the NAACP Theater Award as "Best Director" for his production of Fences at the International City Theater. He is also a faculty member of the USC School of Dramatic Arts. His wife is the actress, Veralyn Jones. He is known for Truth or Dare (2018).
