British film and theater actor, born December 28, 1989. He studied at Old Buckenham Hall School. He studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduated in 2011. He is best known for his television roles in historical dramas, including Versailles and Vikings. He played King Louis XIV and the Anglo-Saxon monk Athelstan. He is known for Les Misérables (2012), Wrath of the Titans (2012), and Lara (2020).
