She is an Indian Film producer, director, and actress. She was born on July 4, 1959, Delhi, India. She studied at Lawrence School, Sanwar. She received her MA in Sanskrit and graduated in 1980 from the National School of Drama, New Delhi. She started her artistic career in 1982.
