He is a Canadian actor, born on September 22, 1936, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, as Robin Andrew Gammell. He launched his acting career as a junior ensemble member at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. He appeared in several plays before moving to the world of cinema. He is known for Skyline (2010), Bulworth (1998), and Contact (1997). He is married to Gretchen Corbett, with whom he has a daughter, actress Winslow Corbett.
