An African-American journalist, Monica Jones was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. She graduated from a Catholic high school for girls, then studied at the University of Louisville, but she stopped her studies after she got married. Later, she returned to complete her studies and got a job at a bank. She also applied for a job in the field of writing, worked as a journalist, and presented many artistic works.
