Mexican actor, born on March 13, 1929, in San Diego de la Union, Guanajuato, Mexico. His notable works include: El águila descalza (1971), Island of Lost Souls (1974), and Romancing the Stone (1984). He died on January 15, 1993, in Distrito Federal, Mexico, due to complications from AIDS, at the age of 63.
