An American writer, born on January 27, 1954, in North Adams, Massachusetts, USA. He studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, then worked as an illustrator in a local newspaper in Dover, New Hampshire. He co-created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise with Kevin Eastman. His notable work includes Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993), and the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014).
