A French actor, comedian and producer of Algerian descent, whose real name is Daniel Hamidou. He was born in 1966 to an Algerian father and a French mother. He studied performing arts. He was married to Yaël Boon from 2003 until their separation 2018, and was then romantically involved with Laurence Arné. He made his debut in 1995, and is known for his roles in Joyeux Noel, and Welcome to the Sticks, for which he won two awards at the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival in 2008.
