He is a Belgian fashion designer, born and raised in Belgium. He studied design and architecture at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels, Belgium. He worked with designer Raf Simons and designer Jill Sander before taking up the position of Creative Director at Christian Dior, moving to Calvin Klein as Global Creative Director. He participated as himself in the documentary Dior and I (2014).
